Network and Systems Administrator - Vilnius, Egypt


We are in need of a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Vilnius, Egypt. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's network infrastructure and systems. Your main duties will include ensuring the smooth operation of our network, monitoring system performance, managing security protocols, and providing technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be proficient in network administration tools. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the company's network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct regular system backups and perform disaster recovery procedures when needed
- Manage security protocols including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware and software issues
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in network technology to make recommendations for updates or improvements

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of network administration tools (e.g. Cisco IOS)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Familiarity with security protocols such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms to non-technical individuals
