Pastry Chef
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Lom. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our restaurant. You will work closely with the head chef to develop menus and oversee the pastry kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry making and a creative flair to come up with new and unique dessert offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of desserts and pastries for our menu
- Develop new recipes and update existing ones
- Ensure all pastries are of high quality and visually appealing
- Train and supervise pastry kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop menus that incorporate seasonal ingredients
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and new ingredients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques and recipes
- Creative mindset with the ability to come up with new ideas for desserts/pastries
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of pastries/desserts
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to effectively train and supervise staff
- Attention to detail for plating/presentation of desserts/pastries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or equivalent experience/training as a Pastry Chef
- Experience working in a fine dining restaurant or hotel setting
