Senior Merchandiser
As a Senior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising operations for our company in Muharraq. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop effective strategies for promoting and selling our products. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing inventory levels, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Merchandiser in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of merchandising principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising plans in collaboration with the sales and marketing team
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet demand
- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and trends
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing for products
- Analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing displays that attract customers' attention
- Train and mentor junior merchandisers
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote our products
