Welder

A Welder is responsible for joining, cutting, and shaping metal parts using various welding techniques. They must have a good understanding of blueprints and technical drawings to accurately produce the desired product. The ideal candidate should have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications of the project
- Choose appropriate welding method based on materials and specifications
- Operate welding equipment safely and effectively
- Clean and maintain welding tools and equipment
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working with hot metals and gases
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment or materials as needed
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, arc, etc.
- Familiarity with safety precautions when working with hot metals and gases
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Good hand-eye coordination

Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in welding from a recognized institution
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Familiarity with different types of metal materials
