Junior Back-End Developer

As a Junior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure smooth integration and functionality of the website. This is a full-time position in Braga, with a salary of 1300$. We welcome fresh graduates who have a passion for coding and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions for bug fixes
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure data security by implementing proper authentication and authorization protocols
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven work experience as a back-end developer or web developer
- Proficient knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript is preferred
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and web servers (Apache/Nginx)
- Understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
