Back-End Developer


We are in search of a skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Braga. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You should have a strong understanding of server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP, as well as experience with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient and scalable server-side code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Manage data storage and retrieval for web applications
- Ensure security and data protection measures are implemented

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (Java, Python, PHP)
- Experience working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
