Contract Merchandiser in Porto, Portugal

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Contract Merchandiser to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Contract Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining merchandise displays and stock levels in assigned retail stores. Your main goal will be to increase sales and profitability by effectively showcasing products to customers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff
- Ensure that all merchandise displays are visually appealing and meet company standards
- Monitor stock levels and communicate any replenishment needs to the appropriate teams
- Conduct regular store visits to check on product availability, placement, and pricing accuracy
- Collaborate with sales teams to plan and execute promotional events or displays
- Train store staff on product features and benefits to increase sales
- Communicate any customer feedback or concerns regarding products or displays

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques
- Experience working with consumer goods or FMCG products
- Familiarity with Porto's retail market
- Fluency in Portuguese (or willingness to learn)

This is a contract position, offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.
