Pastry Chef

We are a renowned bakery and cafe in Nairobi, known for our delicious pastries and baked goods. We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare various pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
- Decorate pastries using different techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Train kitchen staff on pastry techniques and recipes.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of ingredients, baking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Creativity in developing new pastry ideas.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.

Salary: 1500$ per month
