Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist
Location: Oslo, Norway


We are a leading healthcare facility in Oslo, Norway seeking an experienced and highly qualified Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to patients in order to promote healthy eating habits and manage medical conditions related to diet. This is a full-time position that does not include accommodation, therefore candidates must have their own visa and residence in Oslo.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments for patients and develop personalized meal plans based on their medical conditions and dietary needs
- Provide individual and group nutrition counseling sessions to educate patients on healthy eating habits and how to manage their conditions through diet
- Monitor patient progress and adjust meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with current research on nutrition and incorporate new information into practice
- Create educational materials such as handouts or presentations for patient education programs
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including note-taking during counseling sessions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian in a clinical setting
- Experience working with patients with various medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or food allergies
- Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines and ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand language for patients
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients towards healthy eating habits
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
