Executive Chef for Indian Cuisine in Vianden, Luxembourg


We are hiring an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen in Vianden, Luxembourg. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and taste. You will also oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, manage and train culinary staff, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and authentic Indian cuisine menu items
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and cost control
- Train and supervise culinary staff to maintain consistency in food quality
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning and special events
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portioning to maintain high standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu items

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or higher in an Indian cuisine restaurant or hotel
- Diploma or degree from a culinary school preferred
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, and regional variations
- Proven experience in creating innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
