Executive Chef
As the Executive Chef at our renowned restaurant in the beautiful city of Vianden, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and creating exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual with a passion for food and a proven track record in the culinary industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative menus that showcase seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of chefs, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation to maintain consistency and quality
- Monitor inventory levels and control food costs while maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a reputable institution
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and current food trends
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
