Quality Assurance Engineer
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your role will be to ensure the high quality and functionality of our products before they are released to the market. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of any issues. You should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and experience in creating automated tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and products
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Create automated tests to streamline the testing process
- Continuously improve upon existing testing processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for software testing
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software quality assurance/testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual and automated)
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Experience in creating automated tests using tools like Selenium or Appium
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Salary:
Salary for this position is $1000 per month.
Location:
This position is based in Svalbard.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
