Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all pastries and desserts for our restaurant. You will also be responsible for managing and training a team of pastry chefs and ensuring the highest quality of pastries are consistently produced.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute new pastry recipes and menu items
- Oversee the production of pastries and desserts
- Ensure all ingredients used are of the highest quality
- Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of pastry chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create new recipes from scratch with attention to detail
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Creativity, passion, and dedication for creating delicious pastries
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Preferred Nationality: African or Egyptian (non-native speakers welcome)
Language Requirements: Fluent English (Arabic is a plus)
