Junior Android Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our growing team in Svalbard. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing applications
- Utilize industry best practices to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and third-party libraries
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Published at least one app on the Google Play Store
- Knowledge of design patterns such as MVP or MVVM
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
