Preservation Architect

A prestigious architecture firm in Wiltz is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team of experts. Our firm specializes in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures throughout the city. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and overseeing restoration projects to ensure the preservation of these important pieces of our city's history.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop detailed plans and designs for restoration projects, taking into consideration historical accuracy and structural integrity
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee the execution of restoration work
- Monitor progress and ensure that all work is completed according to specifications and within budget
- Research historical information and materials to inform design decisions and ensure authenticity in restoration projects
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to obtain necessary approvals for restoration work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation or conservation
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture or related field
- Extensive knowledge of historic building practices, materials, and techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other architectural software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Fluency in English (Malayalee preferred)
- Biometric passport (preferred)
