Typesetter

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital media. You will work closely with editors, designers, and clients to ensure that the final product meets quality standards and client requirements. Your attention to detail, knowledge of design principles, and proficiency in typesetting software will be essential in creating visually appealing and error-free layouts.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread content for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and clients to ensure project goals are met
- Use typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Maintain files and records of completed layouts for future reference
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Knowledge of design principles such as typography, layout, color theory, etc.
- Proficiency in typesetting software (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in typesetting is a plus

Location: Vianden, Canada (Preference for Canadian nationals)

Salary: $1100 per month

Working Hours: Full-Time
