Entry-Level Glazier



We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Entry-Level Glazier to join our team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As an entry-level glazier, you will work under the supervision of experienced glaziers to learn the trade and develop your skills in glass installation, repair, and replacement.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced glaziers in measuring, cutting, and installing glass for windows, doors, and other structures
- Learn how to safely use tools such as glass cutters, power saws, and drills
- Help prepare work areas by removing old or broken glass and cleaning surfaces for installation
- Develop an understanding of different types of glass and their best uses for specific projects
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy sheets of glass and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination for precise measurements and cuts
- A willingness to learn from experienced glaziers and follow instructions carefully
- Basic knowledge of tools and their uses preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1300$, with potential increases based on performance.
