Barista Assistant



We are hiring a Barista Assistant to join our team at a cozy coffee shop in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As a Barista Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced baristas to create and serve delicious coffee drinks and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and more
- Ensure that the quality of coffee drinks meets our high standards
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and handling transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Learn about different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and roasting techniques to enhance your skills as a barista
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with team members to create new menu items or improve existing ones

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
- Must have a biometric passport or valid work permit for Liechtenstein (non-negotiable)
- No previous experience required - we are willing to train the right candidate!
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods
- Excellent communication skills - able to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
