Entry-level Interpreter in Oslo, Norway


We are seeking an entry-level Interpreter to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for clients in various settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with minimal experience in the field to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop their skills as an interpreter.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for clients in person or via phone/video calls
- Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive communication between parties
- Research and familiarize yourself with terminology related to various fields such as legal, medical, or business
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve your interpreting skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Interpretation, Translation or related field preferred
- Fluency in English and the language(s) you will be interpreting (preferably Norwegian)
- Excellent listening, comprehension, and speaking skills
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Willingness to learn new terminology and adapt to different situations

Salary:
This is a full-time entry-level position with a salary of $1500 USD per month. In addition to the salary, we offer visa sponsorship for international candidates.
