Job Title: Student Babysitter

Are you a responsible and caring student looking for part-time work in Svalbard? Our family is seeking a Student Babysitter to provide occasional childcare for our two young children, aged 3 and 6. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves children and wants to gain experience working with them.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children during designated hours
- Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities
- Prepare simple meals or snacks for the children
- Help with light housekeeping tasks related to the children
- Follow parents' guidelines for discipline and routine
- Communicate effectively with parents about any concerns or issues

Requirements:
- Must be a student, preferably in high school or college/university
- Previous experience working with children is preferred, but not required
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a bonus)
- Reliable transportation to and from our home in Svalbard

Schedule:
This is a part-time position that will vary depending on our needs. We are willing to work around your class schedule, but we do ask for some flexibility. Weekends or evenings may be required occasionally.

Compensation:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
