Junior Architectural Designer - Shan, Kenya


We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Architectural Designer to join our growing team in Shan, Kenya. As a member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects and assist in the design and development of architectural plans. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in architectural design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles, excellent visualization skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software. This is a full-time position with no accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers to create architectural designs for various projects
- Assist in developing detailed drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and other design software
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for project designs
- Prepare presentations and visual aids to effectively communicate design concepts to clients
- Research materials and products to be used in projects
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to incorporate into designs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in architectural design (internship experience will also be considered)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design software
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations
- Excellent visualization skills with the ability to create accurate 3D models from sketches or ideas
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently on projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas to clients

Salary: $900 per month
