Sous Chef in Las Vegas
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations, creating menus, and training staff. Our ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and creation
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes
- Ensure the quality of food is up to standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Manage inventory and control costs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
