Unity Developer - Contract Position in Lisbon


We are seeking a skilled Unity Developer to join our team on a contract basis in the vibrant city of Lisbon. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality, engaging, and visually stunning games and applications. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for game development and a desire to work on exciting projects.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to translate ideas into functional game mechanics and features
- Develop, test, and maintain code for various game systems using C# in Unity
- Optimize performance of games and applications for different platforms such as mobile, PC, and console
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise during development
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends and technologies in game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in C# programming language
- Strong understanding of Unity game engine
- Experience working on at least one published game or application using Unity
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or C++
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g. Blender, Maya)
- Experience with multiplayer game development
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of $1600 per month. Visa sponsorship can be provided for qualified candidates.

Location:
This role is based in Lisbon, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe known for its rich culture, delicious food, and sunny weather. The position can also be performed remotely from anywhere within Portugal.
