Cashier
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Vianden. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cashier, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an urgent position with accommodation available.
As a Cashier, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases
- Scanning items, bagging merchandise, and processing payments accurately
- Providing accurate change to customers and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
- Maintaining knowledge of current promotions and sales
- Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Following all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills in English (French or German is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
This position offers a salary of $1500 per month with accommodation provided. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
