Restaurant Manager


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in the heart of the bustling city of New York. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality. You will also be responsible for managing and training our staff, creating schedules, and handling inventory and budget management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work well under pressure. A passion for the food industry is a must. This is a contract job with a salary of $1000 per week. Applicants must have their own valid work visa for the US.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Ensure high-quality customer service by interacting with customers and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Train new staff members on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Create schedules for staff based on business needs while adhering to labor budget
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for employees and address any areas for improvement
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and monitor food costs
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Handle financial aspects such as cash management, budgeting, and reporting
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
- Knowledgeable about food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Proficient in inventory management
- Must have own valid work visa for US
