Junior Developer

We are hiring a talented and motivated Junior Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Junior Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers to design, develop, and implement software solutions for our clients. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in various programming languages and technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop software solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Assist in project planning and estimation
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C++)
- Familiarity with web development tools (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Passion for learning new technologies and expanding skill set

Salary: $900/month (with accommodation)
