Information Security Analyst - Contract Position (Oslo, Norway)


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team in Oslo, Norway on a contract basis. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential security risks and vulnerabilities within our systems, as well as implementing and monitoring security measures to protect against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to mitigate identified risks
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or breaches
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely response and resolution
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of system development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) preferred
- Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus

Salary:
This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1200 USD per month.

Location:
This position is based in Oslo, Norway. Candidates must be eligible to work in Norway without sponsorship.
