Part-Time Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare tax returns
- Advise on cost-saving strategies and opportunities for revenue growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts
- Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks) and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Portugal is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
