Smelter Operator

We are a leading smelting company located in Bungoma and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Smelter Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the smelting equipment to produce high-quality metal products. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1700 per month and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment, including furnaces, ovens, and other machinery
- Monitor the production process to ensure efficient and safe operation
- Adjust controls to maintain proper temperature, pressure, and flow rates
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep accurate records of production data and report any deviations or problems

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Smelter Operator in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of smelting processes, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects
- Good communication skills in English

Preferred:
- Prior experience working with Indian nationals or in an English-speaking environment
