Surveyor - Ar-Ruwais, Kenya
As a Surveyor in Ar-Ruwais, Kenya, you will play a crucial role in collecting and analyzing data to determine the location, boundaries, and elevation of land or other features. Your responsibilities will include using specialized equipment and technology to measure and map out areas for construction projects, land development, or resource extraction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys to gather accurate measurements and data on land and other features
- Using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners to collect data
- Analyzing data and creating maps, charts, and reports to visualize survey results
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction managers to ensure accuracy of survey data for project planning
- Utilizing computer software programs for drafting plans and designing layouts
- Preparing legal documents related to land surveys such as deeds, titles, and easements
- Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in surveying techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Surveyor in a similar role
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with computer software programs for drafting plans (AutoCAD) and GIS applications (ArcGIS)
Salary: $1200/month (negotiable based on experience)
