Milling Machine Operator

We are in need of a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Nairobi. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating milling machines and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Good understanding of machining processes and tooling techniques
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time

Salary:
$1000 per month
