Accountant vacancy in Nizwa Oman

Junior Accountant
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for providing support to the finance department of our company. They will assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and other accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assist in tax preparation and filing
- Monitor financial transactions and make sure they are recorded accurately
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Nizwa, Oman

Preference: Filipinos, English speaking candidates, women
