Junior Accountant - Nizwa, Oman


We are hiring a Junior Accountant for our company in Nizwa, Oman. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of our organization by performing various accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Process invoices and expense reports
- Conduct bank reconciliations and track accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
- Perform data entry and maintain electronic databases
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Monitor and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Preference for Malayalees)
- Biometric passport required (if non-national)
- Previous experience in accounting or finance preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Salary: 1400$ per month, with accommodation provided.
