Senior Accountant

Our accounting firm in Oslo is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. They will also provide guidance and support to junior accountants, as well as collaborate with other departments to develop financial strategies and budgets.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial transactions such as payments, invoices, and payroll
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to develop budget plans and monitor spending
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants on complex accounting tasks
- Communicate with clients or external agencies regarding financial matters
- Stay updated on industry regulations and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
