Data Mining Specialist



As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights for our company in Svalbard. Your main goal will be to extract valuable information from various sources and present it in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources
- Utilizing various data mining techniques to discover patterns and trends
- Creating data models and algorithms to analyze complex datasets
- Interpreting and presenting findings to stakeholders in a meaningful way
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and potential risks
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and implementing best practices

Requirements:
- Proven experience in data mining or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Proficient in SQL, R, Python or other programming languages for data analysis
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position. Additional benefits may be discussed during the interview process.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard. While we do not provide accommodation, we are happy to assist with relocation if needed.
