Experienced Turner for Metal Fabrication Company in Split, Croatia


We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our metal fabrication company located in Split, Croatia. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating various turning machines and tools to shape metal parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate turning machines and tools to shape metal parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
- Communicate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the turning process

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner in a metal fabrication environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Preferred:
- Experience working with different types of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and brass
- Knowledge of programming CNC turning machines is a plus
