Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Acre, Israel. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and creative individual with a strong background in culinary arts and food preparation. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff, and developing new menu items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop menus that are innovative, appealing, and reflective of current food trends
- Ensure high quality standards for all dishes served
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food quality and service
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure proper coverage during busy periods
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Degree or certification in culinary arts preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Creativity in menu development
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
