Preservation Architect



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Balzers. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of historic buildings and structures. Your main role will be to ensure that these buildings are preserved in their original state or restored to their former glory while complying with modern building codes and safety standards. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1300$.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Preservation Architect
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety standards
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine necessary preservation work
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for clients
- Oversee restoration projects and ensure compliance with building codes
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the restoration process
- Conduct research on historical buildings and their materials to inform preservation efforts
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, budget, and expenses
