House Maid in Svalbard


We are currently hiring for the position of House Maid in Svalbard. As a House Maid, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the household, as well as assisting with other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Ensure all rooms are kept neat and tidy
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Wash and fold laundry
- Organize closets and cabinets
- Stock household supplies
- Assist with meal preparation and clean up after meals
- Run errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning
- Other tasks as needed to maintain a clean and organized household

Requirements:
- No previous experience required but previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
- Reliable transportation to commute to the household location
- Valid visa or work permit to work in Svalbard
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. Applicants must have their own accommodation arrangements.
