Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Location: Svalbard, Norway



We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our team in Svalbard. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our facilities, providing high-quality service to our guests and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas according to established standards, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and changing linens.
- Restock supplies in rooms and common areas.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or damages.
- Handle guest requests promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor towards guests at all times.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate departments.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime if needed.
