The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with mechanical aptitude and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machines in a manufacturing setting and be able to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments as needed. This is a contract position with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of machinery such as lathes, mills, drills, and grinders
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and resolve any minor issues that may arise during production
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine maintenance

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
