Machine Operator

A reputable manufacturing company in Hawalli is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating complex machinery and possess strong mechanical aptitude. The primary role of the Machine Operator will be to set up, operate, and maintain various machines to ensure efficient production processes. This is a contract position with potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines in a timely manner
- Inspect finished products for quality control
- Maintain accurate documentation of production data and machine maintenance records
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to read technical manuals/blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time
