A reputable construction company is seeking a qualified and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying and be able to provide accurate measurements and data for various construction projects. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, creating maps and layouts, and providing support to the project management team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month, without accommodation. Indian nationals with fluent English proficiency are preferred for this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting surveys to determine precise locations and measurements of land or structures
- Using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Creating maps, drawings, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Providing accurate data and reports to the project management team
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy in project planning
- Adhering to safety standards while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surveyor in the construction industry
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and CAD software
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Indian national preferred
