Carpenter - Construction Worker


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our growing construction team in Medina. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures made of wood, steel, and other materials. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$, perfect for students or those looking for short-term work experience. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine construction specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Select materials needed for construction based on project requirements
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools such as saws and drills
- Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws, or glue
- Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow all safety procedures while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a carpenter in the construction industry preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong understanding of different types of wood and how to work with them effectively
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials if needed
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Must have own transportation to commute to different job sites
