Caregiver - Svalbard



We are in need of a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Svalbard. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to individuals who are unable to fully care for themselves due to age, illness, or disability.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Administer medication and assist with medical appointments
- Accompany clients on outings and appointments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Communicate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for clients

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role is required
- Compassionate nature and strong empathy for others
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Valid work permit or visa for Svalbard (own visa jobs only)
- Physical ability to lift and move clients as needed
