Contract Handyman in Svalbard

We are hiring a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks within our company-owned facilities. This may include basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general handyman duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and patching walls
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them before they become larger problems
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and plumbing problems
- Complete minor carpentry tasks such as building shelves or repairing furniture
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for maintenance work
- Communicate with management about any major repairs or projects that require outside contractors

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
