Librarian for Multilingual Library in Ashdod, Israel



As a Librarian for our Multilingual Library in Ashdod, Israel, you will be responsible for the management and organization of our diverse collection of books and resources. With a focus on serving the needs of our Malayalee and Kenyan communities, we are seeking a candidate who is fluent in both English and at least one other language spoken by these groups. No prior experience is required for this position.

In addition to cataloging and maintaining our library's collection, you will also be responsible for assisting patrons with finding resources, answering reference questions, and providing information literacy instruction. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills as well as a passion for promoting literacy and lifelong learning.

We offer a salary of 1000$ per month along with accommodation within walking distance of the library. As this is a part-time position, you will have the flexibility to pursue other interests or part-time work.
