Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. Your main goal will be to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and accurately measure and control the necessary parameters. You will work closely with engineers, operators, and other technicians to troubleshoot any issues and ensure the smooth operation of the equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, level indicators, etc.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics diagrams, and testing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a regular basis to ensure optimal performance of instruments.
- Collaborate with engineers to design new control systems or upgrade existing ones.
- Train operators on how to use instruments correctly and safely.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any abnormalities or potential issues.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while working with hazardous materials or in confined spaces.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Good understanding of electrical circuits and experience with troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Knowledge of various types of instrumentation used in industrial processes.
- Familiarity with control systems such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit to work in confined spaces or at heights if necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Location: This position is located in Muharraq, Bahrain. While we welcome candidates from all nationalities who meet the requirements above, preference will be given to Bahraini nationals.
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, along with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.
