Instrument Technician - Muharraq, Bahrain


We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining various types of instruments and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate and repair a variety of instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, level transmitters and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instruments and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals and blueprints to accurately complete installations and repairs
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify solutions for complex instrument issues
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any deviations or issues to management
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on instruments or in hazardous areas

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar role
- Knowledge of various types of instruments and control systems including pneumatic, electronic and digital instrumentation
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues quickly
- Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals and blueprints accurately
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Education:
A technical diploma or certificate in Instrumentation or a related field is required.

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available. Our company values diversity and encourages applications from women for this role. The working hours are 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime. The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
