Preservation Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in the vibrant city of Dickirch. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures. This includes conducting thorough assessments, developing preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans that outline the necessary restoration work and methods for preserving the historical integrity of the building
- Oversee restoration projects, working closely with contractors and craftsmen to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Ensure compliance with local regulations for historic preservation
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and consultants to develop innovative preservation solutions
- Research historical documentation and materials to inform preservation plans and techniques
- Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and specifications for preservation projects
- Monitor project progress and budgets to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and architectural history
- Familiarity with local historic preservation regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)
